Not A Compliment
In 2016, The One Club chose to highlight Gender Inequality for their annual design competition. Choosing to focus on women and the effects of cat-calling, my campaign uses bright and loud colors with mismatched typography that catches the viewers full attention. I used loud typography and I stylized it to make it have that creepy, nefarious ransom note feeling with the cut out letters of magazins. Putting these graphics in public places where cat-calling usually exists, highlights the fact that this act of aggression is something thatwomen across the world expereience daily.
